Blur text with iOS snapshot tool

I am surprised that I am not able to find out how to blur text with the iOS snapshot tool. So far my best bet is to select the black color and then use the marker pen to paint over the text. Is there any easier way? I am on the latest iOS.

I don't think that is possible yet. At least I don't know a way to do it. On the other hand, Annotable is an excellent tool for that and many other photo markup tasks. It is a paid app, but to me, it has been worth its price many times over since I first got it.

Embedded is a short video I made to demonstrate how you can obscure parts of images with Annotable.

I realize now that I didn't pick an ideal Screenshot for the demo. 😀
