How do you write ' instead of ’ in iOS?

When I use the English keyboard in iOS it autocorrects “cant” to “can’t” and “isnt” to “isn’t”. That’s not right, is it? Shouldn’t it be “can't” and “isn't”? If so, how do I get iOS to do that? Or are both ways right? Writing ' manually is a hassle.

I can barely notice the difference between the two. Is it that one apostrophe is a bit more curved and the other is straight? If so, I think they are both fine. Especially because I only noticed it since I zoomed in a lot to see what you were talking about.  Nerd

Yes, it is that small difference. I notice that you write ' that I was looking for. But maybe that’s when you’re not on the iPad.

Usually you know more than I do, but sometimes it could be good not to forget old knowledges.  Please, no hard feelings. Laughing
More than 15 years ago I was so used to write in that way, so it was no problem.

Okay, it would work here, but not for places like word processors and the like. :-)
