Welcome to iPad for work
This community is aimed at all of you interested in using iPad instead of a traditional PC as your main computer. iPads aren't the best choice for all types of work but there are things it excels at. I think many image tasks are perfect for iPad. Reading and writing too. Even creating 3D models for printing with a 3D printer. If you hesitate to use iPad for "real" work I hope to convince you that it can be the best alternative. :-)
My name is Niklas and I am the host of this community. After using Windows and macOS computers for years I switched to 100 % iPad in 2013. Over the years I have had the original iPad, iPad 3, iPad Air, 2 x iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro with 12.9 inch screen. Currently I use iPad Pro 12.9 most but also iPad mini 4. I have an Apple Magic keyboard and Apple Pencil as well.
I own a MacBook Air that I use maybe once a month and a Mac mini as a server for backups.
Since the original iPad was released I have tested thousands of apps. Feel free to ask for suggestions if you need an app but are unsure which one to choose. I may be able to help you.
